Aidan Gallery was founded in 1992.
The director, Aidan Salakhova, is one of the founders of "The First Gallery," which was indeed the first gallery in the city dealing in contemporary art. The gallery participated in such international contemporary art fairs as The Armory Show, FIAC, Art Moscow, Art Forum Berlin, ARCO.

ART+ART gallery was founded in 2009.
Its principal focus is the presentation of established international and Russian contemporary artists whose diverse practices include painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography. The artists featured in the gallery have been exhibited widely in museum and gallery contexts and have been regularly included in international exhibitions. The newest addition to Moscows thriving contemporary art scene is Vinzavod, a 200,000-square-foot exhibition hall in an industrial section behind the Kursk Railroad Station. Though still a work in progress, it is already attracting some of the citys most prominent galleries. Imagine SoHo way back when.
